Hough’s background mostly in European Antiques, and Abrahim’s has followed the Silk Road to find rugs, textiles and furniture from around the world. Together, the result is colorful, unique, and beautiful.

In this showroom you will find cabinets made out of reclaimed wood with an old paint finishes, neoclassical and midcentury modern framed chairs- covered in leather, wool, linen, and vintage kantha fabrics. There is also a wide selection of natural materials such as petrified wood coffee tables and live-edge dining tables. The combination of textures, colors, cultures and styles make this showroom one that you will never forget!

Live Edge Exploration

Tony is on the move yet again (not that he ever really slows down enough to stay in one place for too long). Here is in Thailand looking for some magnificent live edge tables. When we receive them in Connecticut they are already sanded and waxed. So its really interesting to see how these incredibly huge and heavy tables come into being! The wood is called monkey wood, and its native to Southeast Asia.

TW HOME INTRODUCES THE FLOWER TEA COLLECTION AT THE SHANGHAI FURNITURE SHOW

TW Home introduced a new collection of furnishings and accessories at the Shanghai Furniture show, the largest trade show in the world. The collection, based on the textiles, both vintage and new, of the Yunnan province in southern China. Yunnan is a province in the far southwest, bordering Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam as well as the Chinese provinces and regions of Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan and Tibet. The region produces some of the world’s most distinctive indigo tie dye fabric designs which are the basis for our collection. We also designed ceramics, painted case goods, and over dye rugs to complete the furnishings. The Flower Tea Collection was enthusiastically received by store buyers from around the world and can now be viewed in our Stamford, CT showrooms.
